Squats For squats, it's not necessary to perform them outdoors, however, you should use the right equipment for safety reasons. Squats are tough to do and risk of injury is high if not done correctly. Squats are specially useful for building strength in the lower areas of our bodies, our legs in particular. If you have more muscle mass, more calories will be burned. Those are just four examples of exercises you can do to lose weight. But you can be more physically active in other areas, as well. For example, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk or cycle to your nearby grocery store instead of taking the car. So be active and lose all that weight.
