America's Next Top Model: Episode 9.10, "The Girls Go To Shanghai " Recap

Tonight's episode of America 's Next Top Model featured the aspiring young models going up against each other, but this time, not on the runway. Tonight's challenges include martial arts up in the air ad a Cover Girl photo shoot and commercial shoot.

So first off, the girls were shipped off to Shanghai , where a mysterious surprise greeted them upon their arrival at their house. As there were only six girls left, they expected to see six beds at their house. However, there were only six beds, which meant that two of them would have to share beds. Bianca and Jenah ended up sharing a bed, thus giving Heather, who was initially left with no bed, a space to sleep in.

Later, the girls took a tour around Shanghai with a martial arts expert as a tour guide. He then taught the girls several martial arts positions that they would be executing later. Since they were pressed for time, the girls had quite a rough time learning the positions. Finally, their challenge was revealed to them. The girls were required to recreate the martial arts position while being held up in the air by a rope. Most of the girls had a tough time keeping their grace and hiding their fear of heights, and Bianca backed off the challenge, and was thus disqualified. Heather, on the other hand, emerged victorious on this challenge as she was able to pull off a graceful performance. Heather garnered a shopping spree as her prize, and brought along Chantal to share her winnings with.

Judgment time came and Chantal was named first, as she had the strongest performance. Tyra called Saleisha next, but was warned that she needed to fix her smile on the photos, as it looked like she had bags under her eyes. Bianca was then called and commended for her strong photo. However, judges thought her commercial was quite weak. The last girl to be called was Jenah, who failed to bring life to her commercial.

The bottom girls of the day were Heather and Lisa. Tyra was very disappointed in Heather, but was more worried about Lisa, whom Tyra thought could not handle any more criticism. Tyra then decided to eliminate Lisa, who was sent home right from China .
