Activating Affluence

By: Kenrick Cleveland

I'm a firm believer that we are here to create our own destinies. Our lives are exactly as we have made them - for good or bad.

I'm fairly certain that most people involved in MAXpersuasion are either living the good life or are on the path to the good life because expanding our universes is truly one of the best ways to get exactly what we want out of life.

I've been thinking about the concept of affluence lately--from principles to thoughts to action to the realization of it.

If you really want to realize your dreams, and I assume you do, then installing an affluent mindset and affluent thought processes will help you on this path. These are strategies of the world's wealthiest people.

Here's a question: why do you think Bill Gates is wealthier than you?

Affluence is more than a mindset. It's about foundational principles and core strategies of wealth and programming ourselves at the level of the other than conscious mind.

At your core, you may already have a very good sense of who you are and what you want. By understanding your core values and your own criteria for any given context, you provide yourself with what it takes to succeed.

My dad taught me when I was young that if I loved what I do, I would never work a day in my life.

This isn't new information obviously. I have benefited from it immeasurably.

If we tried an experiment where we followed some of the wealthiest people around during their working day, we might feel run ragged by the end of this time. It might be hard to keep up.

The reason for this is that their dreams are not our dreams.

What would happen if we turned the tables and they had to follow you around for a week? Assume that you are doing exactly what you want to do in life and are creating and manifesting exactly what you desire. I would suggest that they would be exhausted by the end of your workday as well.

In order to really understand who you are and what you want, you need absolute clarity. The clearer your image is of what you want, the clearer your desires and wishes and ideals are, the quicker you'll receive exactly that.

With the assistance of clarity, you can step into the mindset of millionaires and billionaires and create the same results.

My early training in neuro linguistic programming had a saying, "If it's possible in the world, it's possible for me. It's only a matter of how."

There was always a smart aleck in the back of the room that had to confront the trainer and say, "So are you telling me a paraplegic has the same ability as an Olympic athlete?" No. That's absolutely not what's being said here.

Here's what's being said: If it is possible for other humans who are of roughly the same capacity as you, it is possible for you. There is nothing inherently 'better' about Bill Gates and yet I hazard to say he's wealthier than you (and me), at least for the time being.

So why is Bill Gates wealthier than us? Is it luck? Sure. It could be. He was in the right place at the right time. . . that could be it.

But it's not enough just to be in the right place at the right time. I love saying, "I'm a great believer in luck. And I find the harder I work, the more of it I have."

Where inspiration and perspiration meet, that's where magic happens.

However, you can't have one side without the other. It's not enough to have the inspiration (the thoughts) without the perspiration (the work, the action, the doing).
